About Us
Owensboro River City Kennel Club is an affiliate of the American Kennel Club. ORCKC is made up of an eclectic mix of individuals, we have Vets, School Teachers, Accountants, Business Owners, Breeders, Professional Handlers and more that make up our membership.
We come together to promote responsible pet ownership, the sport of dog showing and to learn from one another. Many of our members teach classes that are open to the general public and current members.
We draw from the expertise of our members to make our club better.
Membership
Owensboro River City Kennel Club welcomes you to come and attend a meeting or training class to get to know us better. We meet the first Tuesday of each month. Dates for meetings and other events are listed on the Calendar. We would love to have you as a member. Some of the benefits of joining our AKC Club:

How do I become a member
Requirements are as follows:
Attend meeting or training class to become familiar with club.
Have two members nominate you for membership.
Fill out membership application and submit to club with fee.
Attend two meetings where your application is read to general membership.
Third meeting that membership application is read you will not attend and we will vote on membership.
